The
inspiration for this project was the Polar Lights Dr. Smith & Robot model.
The Robot was customized into the one shown on the Lost In Space Robot page.
The Dr. Smith figure was built straight from the box. The Polar Lights base was discarded and replaced with
a spare from the Aurora Prehistoric Cave Bear and the campfire parts from the Cave.
The Weather Station was completely scratchbuilt using a PVC plumbing fitting,
sheet styrene, brass wire, aluminum foil and a variety of other materials.
