Here is the recent Moebius  Models reissue of the Aurora Voyager model from the animated Fantastic Voyage  television series.  The original model, produced in 1968, was a very short lived issue and is one of the rarest pieces for collectors. 

The model is built straight from the box.  The only modification is the removal of the rectangular hole in the bottom of the fuselage for the display stand.  The original clear plastic stand was discarded and a new one was built using a round wood plaque which was stained and clear coated and polished to a high gloss.  The original decal was cut to shape and mounted on the base.  A length of brass tubing was polished and attached to the center, providing a sturdier and more attractive display.
